RoomLane Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of RoomLane, an iPhone app for restyling a photographed indoor room. By using RoomLane you agree to them. Contact: stillboard@roomlane.app.
What RoomLane does
RoomLane lets you photograph a room, sketch how people move through it, pin styles to walls and surfaces, and, if you turn on sharing, receive AI-proposed lanes and after-stills that you can accept or discard. RoomLane is free and has no purchases or subscriptions.
AI proposals are suggestions
Lanes, style pins, and after-stills from DeepSeek and MiniMax are generated automatically. They can be inaccurate, may not match your actual room, and are not professional interior design, architectural, structural, electrical, or safety advice. Check measurements, building rules, and safety yourself, and consult a qualified professional before renovation or furniture work.
Your content
You keep the photos and notes you add. You confirm you have the right to photograph the space and anything in it, and you will not use RoomLane to capture people without their permission. When sharing is on, you allow RoomLane to send the content described in the Privacy Policy to DeepSeek and MiniMax solely to produce your proposals.
Acceptable use
Do not use RoomLane to create unlawful, infringing, harassing, or deceptive content, to attempt to extract or misuse the services RoomLane connects to, or to interfere with the app.
Availability
AI features need a network connection and depend on outside providers, so they may be slow, refuse a request, or be unavailable. The local board keeps working without them.
Your data
Your board lives only on your device. Deleting the app deletes it, and we cannot restore it.
Disclaimer and liability
RoomLane is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or decisions made based on AI proposals.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for RoomLane or its support. Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the effective date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
